The team at Parkway consists of David, June, Joan and Pauline who are only too pleased to help you find that elusive nut, bolt or widget. Downstairs is an extensive paint department including a paint mixer where you can get the exact shade to please 'er indoors. The store offers a key cutting service and free local delivery of any item - ideal when you need those heavy bags of compost for the spring planting. In addition the store offers a full stock of seeds for growing vegetables and beautiful flowers - enough to turn anyone's garden into a veritable Garden of Eden! This is combined with a full range of gardening tools and some very nice quality garden furniture upstairs. Upstairs is a bit like hiding your light under a bushel - a lot of people aren't aware of its existence in addition to the garden furniture and BBQS you'll find lawnmowers, ladders and those indispensable Wellington boots- just to mention a few items! Back downstairs there is a wide range of tools and electrical and plumbing fitments to suit both those in the trade and the keen DIY enthusiasts. For the budding chefs amongst us, there's a wide range of kitchen tools and paraphernalia - now that leaves us with no excuse not to prepare that gourmet meal! There's a good stock of fitting and fixings including door furniture and security items and enough glue of all kinds to glue together a battleship! (Parkway say that if they haven't got the right glue - they'd be really stuck!) Oh dear! That truly dreadful pun was ours, not Parkway's. If the man in your life (or woman for that matter) keeps putting off that job you want doing - Parkway also hire out equipment including carpet cleaners, wallpaper strippers, drain rods, hedge cutters and cement mixers!
